Following significant growth Patient Choice is now looking to employ up to 20 more local people.
Patient Choice, which has offices and warehouse facilities at Westpark 26 in Wellington as well as Hockley in Essex, delivers prescription medical appliances to patients across the UK. With ambitious expansion plans that will cement the company’s role within several sectors of the prescribing market, as many as 20 key administrative roles are being created alongside a handful of senior appointments.
Neil Basil, managing director at Patient Choice, an NHS Dispensing Appliance Contractor, said: “We have been working hard through the pandemic to enable patients with a range of health issues gain access to their prescribed appliances at home. Our approach to handling prescriptions provides a positive experience to patients, and offers a better deal for the NHS.
“We have seen 100% growth in the past 18 months and have further plans to build on this success. We will need more people in key roles to support our high levels of service to patients care, and it’s my hope that these vacancies will be filled by local people.
“I believe we’re answering the needs of some people who have seen their employment affected by the pandemic, who have experience and skills they can bring to our business.”
